Join us on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the Markdale Golf and Curling Club to celebrate Curling Day in Canada! Start the day with a delicious pancake breakfast, take your shot in the BIG SHOOTOUT for a chance to win a $5,000 grant for our club, and enjoy 6 ends of curling with snacks. Wear your best Canadiana gear and share in the fun and camaraderie of this nationwide celebration. Tickets are $20 + HST for breakfast and curling or $15 + HST for breakfast only. Don’t miss this exciting day on the ice!
Glow in the Dark Bonspiel

Get ready for an unforgettable evening of fun, laughter, and glowing competition at the Markdale Golf and Curling Club! On Friday, January 17th, join us as we transform the rink with vibrant colors and dazzling lights. Start the night with Wing Night at 6:00 PM, then hit the ice at 7:00 PM for a curling experience like no other.
Cost: $60 per team or $15 per person

Ruby Jubilee Ladies Bonspiel
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 22, 2025
Join us for the Ruby Jubilee, a special double celebration marking 80 years of women’s curling in Markdale and 40 years of our Ladies League! It promises to be a fun-filled day with two draws, two games, and a delicious lunch. Expect great food, exciting prizes, and, of course, fantastic curling. Team entry is $200.
We encourage participants to dress up for the occasion in our theme colors—red, gold, and white—so let your creativity shine!
The event takes place on November 22, 2025, aligning with the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (November 25th). Funds raised at the bonspiel will support the Women’s Centre Grey Bruce, helping women facing violence.
