Curling Leagues

Join us this season for a variety of leagues, including our popular mixed league on Wednesday nights, designed for a more recreational experience than our competitive evening league—perfect for new curlers! Check out our league schedule below. No experience? No problem! We encourage beginners to sign up for any of our recreational leagues.

We’re offering a 4-week “Learn to Curl” program on Mondays, starting November 3rd at 7:30 P.M

Plus, don’t miss our “Give it a Try for Free” session on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M.

When registering, please indicate your preferred leagues so we can ensure enough participants for each one.

Skip’s Choice

This league features preset teams that will play together throughout the entire season in a round-robin format, spanning several draws. Games will be held on Thursday nights, with the exact structure of the draws to be finalized based on the number of teams and scheduling. More details will be provided closer to the season start. If you’d like to join a team but don’t have a foursome, let us know – new teams form every year!

Doubles

Discover the rules and develop skills for playing 2-on-2 curling, which is great practice for throwing rocks. This league will initially run as a “pick-up” format. Sign up to receive weekly emails where you can confirm your availability for that week, and you’ll be paired with a partner unless you bring your own. If the league gains enough interest, we may transition to a more structured house league format, featuring monthly round-robin play.

Youth Program

Join our Youth Curling Program and discover the exciting sport of curling in a safe, fun, and supportive environment! Whether you’re new to the sport or looking to improve your skills, our program is perfect for young curlers ages 7 and up. Led by experienced coaches, participants will learn the rules of curling, practice techniques, and enjoy both non-competitive and competitive play.

The season kicks off on Tuesday, November 4th, with sessions held every Tuesday from 6 PM to 8 PM. The cost is $100 for the full season, with family discounts available. Helmets are mandatory, and participants must bring clean shoes for the ice surface.

Parents must register their kids online prior to November 4th to avoid delays on the first day of curling.

For more information or to sign up, contact Geoff Bakewell at berkeley123@live.com

House League

Our new House League is designed to give curlers the chance to experience true “team” play by staying with the same group for several weeks (we’re planning a 5–6 week draw). Individuals sign up, and our coordinator will form the teams for each draw. Ideally, you’ll play the same position with your team throughout the draw. Teams will be reshuffled after each round.

If you’re unable to curl on a given week, it will be your responsibility to find a spare. We’ll do our best to provide a spare list to help. Games will be six ends.

Some curling experience is preferred but not required—new curlers should also participate in our Learn to Curl program to build a solid foundation.

The House League will begin Sunday, November 9, provided we have at least 32 curlers registered by November 1. We’d love to have you join us!
