It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Bill MacDonald on December 10, 2024, at the age of 75. Devoted husband of Rose for 51 years, loving father to Mandy (Shawn), Meaghan (Ian), Chris (Lexy), and niece Marcie (Matt), and proud Papa to eight grandchildren. Bill will be dearly missed by his sisters Janet (Tom), Judy, and Joanne, and by his lifelong friends and community in Eugenia.

Bill will be remembered for his humor, loyalty, work ethic, and love for his family. He was a talented craftsman and enjoyed many hobbies, including fishing, golfing, and traveling with Rose. He also had a successful academic and professional career before retiring to Lake Eugenia in 2013.

A Celebration of Life will be held on January 4, 2025, from 12pm-4pm at the Flesherton Kinplex.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Markdale Curling Club’s Rock Your Legacy fund.
